Transcendence
The contemporary art exhibition“Transcendence” opened on the 3rd of February at 5 pm, at the Galleria della Biblioteca Angelica -piazza di S. Agostino 8- 00186-Rome.
The event, curated by the art critic Monica Ferrarini of the Associazione M.F.eventi, received the moral patronage of the Regione Lazio and the Municipio Roma I Centro.
“In a finite and limited dimension in which man lives, closed in a materialistic and frenzied reality that tends to lose sight of the spiritual dimension, art becomes a means to open the doors to infinity, and reveals new points of view on the world. Art becomes a means of existential and spiritual research that’s able to go beyond the natural limits through transcendence and is able to go beyond the material, the finite, the imminent. Hence, art has the ability to express, through the finiteness of the work, an aesthetic beauty that manifests through harmony, intended not only as rigour, order and proportion, but especially as spiritual balance.
Each artwork, carefully selected, aims at making evident the pure essence of things and the intimate meaning of nature, inviting the observer to go beyond appearances in order to capture what’s beyond the imminent. In observer the exhibited artworks we will be able to open up to new perspectives, to widen our perceptive ability, discovering interpretative and perceptive channels that too often remain dormant”.
The exhibition sees twenty-nine international artists from ten different countries.
