Making a Mark
On Friday, June 14 at 5:30 PM, the prestigious Galleria La Pigna – Palazzo Maffei Marescotti (Via della Pigna 13, Rome) inaugurated the group exhibition of contemporary art “Making a Mark”.
The exhibition is curated by art critic Monica Ferrarini, in collaboration with Alice Di Piero.
Through the expressive language of a carefully selected group of international artists, “Making a Mark” seeks to highlight how each work, in its conceptual and aesthetic uniqueness, tells a story and develops through the sensitivity and creative vision of its author.
The exhibition explores the idea of art as an intimate and ethereal dimension dominated by emotions—a place where artists capture the essence of their inner world, shaping new dimensions and transforming ideas into tangible form.
At its core, the show reflects on the uniqueness of every “mark left behind,” emphasizing the ability of each artwork to narrate a story that resonates with the deepest emotional layers. Through this “mark,” artists share their identity and personal vision of the universe, bearing witness to their being. Art thus becomes a timeless sign—intangible yet powerful—celebrating what can be felt with the heart and spirit.
