Borderless
On Friday, September 13 at 5:30 PM, the Europa Experience David Sassoli (Piazza Venezia 6, Rome) hosted the inauguration of the group exhibition of contemporary art “Borderless”.
The event, curated by art critic Monica Ferrarini in collaboration with Alice Di Piero, was held under the moral patronage of FIDAPA BPW Italy – Rome Ara Pacis section and the Associazione Donne & Società.
“Borderless” was conceived as a project to strengthen cultural ties among European artists, underlining the idea that art has always been the expression of a civilization and its culture—rooted in tradition yet constantly evolving through dialogue and exchange with others.
The exhibition’s title emphasizes the uniqueness of visual language, a form of communication that requires no words and serves as a unifying expression across peoples and knowledge systems. Art has the power to transcend borders and limitations, unveiling the connections underlying reality—connections that only the artist’s sensitivity can perceive and transform into painted images or sculpted forms.
