Echoes of Now
On Friday, October 18 at 5:00 PM, the Galleria La Pigna – Palazzo Maffei Marescotti (Via della Pigna 13, Rome) inaugurated the group exhibition of contemporary art “Echoes of Now”.
The event, curated by art critic Monica Ferrarini in collaboration with Alice Di Piero, featured a live musical performance by Alessio Santucci and Sirio Black during the vernissage.
Hosted in the prestigious halls of Galleria La Pigna, “Echoes of Now” offers a platform for encounter and exchange among diverse creative expressions, with the aim of spotlighting current contemporary trends. The exhibition brings together a carefully curated selection of artists who, through their work, testify to the present state of art and stand out within the vast international panorama.
The variety of artistic languages and the multifaceted nature of contemporary expression highlight the impossibility of reducing art to a single, universally shared interpretative code. Instead, each work reflects multiple perspectives—born from the subjectivity of both the artist and the viewer—thus underscoring the richness and depth of contemporary creativity.
The exhibition is part of the ninth edition of Rome Art Week, the annual event that fosters connections among artists, galleries, critics, curators, and art professionals, while also engaging a wide audience of art lovers. For participating artists, it represents a significant opportunity to present their work to a broader public.
