Teresa Decinti – Elusive Landscapes
On Saturday, June 22 at 5:30 PM, Borgo Pio Art Gallery (Via degli Ombrellari 2, Rome) inaugurated the solo painting exhibition “Elusive Landscapes” by artist Teresa Decinti.
The event is curated by art critic Monica Ferrarini and was enriched by a live musical performance by Sirio Black during the opening.
With a rich chromatic variety, Teresa Decinti creates works that are both visually captivating and conceptually profound, exploring the boundary between the real and the imaginary with a spontaneous expressive language that gives her art a unique and original identity. Each of her creations stems from a passionate and attentive observation of the world and is distinguished by immersive atmospheres that invite viewers to rediscover aesthetic pleasure while reflecting on the dialogue between the ideal and the contingent.
Her style embraces energy, emotion, and movement, weaving a narrative that captures the essence of reality yet transcends mere objectivity. Animated by a vibrant kaleidoscope of colors, her works establish a dynamic interplay between forms and hues, encouraging viewers to move beyond fixed schemes and challenge their perceptions. By drawing on the immaterial realm, Decinti creates a continuity with the spirit, leading the observer toward a deeper resonance.
In many ways, her landscapes echo the Taoist philosophy of harmony with nature, urging us to reconnect with an often-forgotten bond with the natural world—one that resonates with cosmic energy and taps into its vital force.
