Floating Worlds
On Saturday, June 7 at 5:30 PM, the Museo e Fondazione Venanzo Crocetti (Via Cassia 492, Rome) inaugurated the group exhibition of contemporary art “Floating Worlds”.
The event, curated by art critic Monica Ferrarini in collaboration with Alice Di Piero, opened with a musical performance by artist and musician Siryo Black together with soprano Ilde Consales.
“Floating Worlds” invites viewers on a visual journey through inner landscapes—spaces suspended between instinct and reason, and dimensions in constant transformation shaped by personal subjectivity. Each work embodies impermanence, emotion, and sensitivity as guiding principles of a creativity that distinguishes itself for its unique communicative voice.
In an age marked by instability, the exhibition encourages us to pause within uncertainty, to embrace the beauty of the transient, and to let ourselves be carried away without resistance. Art, as revealed here, is the medium that allows us to cross the thresholds of the ordinary and delve into deeper layers of reality. It teaches us to perceive the essence of a beauty that risks being overlooked in our time, and to rediscover meaning in the everyday—opening access to the extraordinary all around us.
The exhibition features thirty-one international artists from nineteen countries, reflecting the richness and diversity of contemporary artistic expression.
