Timeless Expressions

On Friday, July 11 at 6:00 PM, the Villa Museo Paolina Bonaparte (Via Machiavelli 2, Viareggio) inaugurated the group exhibition of contemporary art “Timeless Expressions”.
The event, curated by art critic Monica Ferrarini, was held under the moral patronage of the City of Viareggio.

“Timeless Expressions” highlights the enduring power of art as the most intimate expression of the human soul—an energy capable of transcending eras, languages, and cultures without ever losing its force. The exhibition underscores how art escapes historical contingency, evoking emotions of an atemporal nature while addressing universal questions and truths that remain vibrant even as the world around us changes.

What unites artistic expression across time is the impulse to communicate what words cannot, to give form to the invisible. Far from being confined to its own historical moment, art carries a timeless value that survives the relentless passage of time, constantly renewing its meaning. In an age dominated by the ephemeral, by speed and frenzy, art asserts itself as a resilient dimension—a place where the human spirit is reaffirmed, proving that, despite everything, humanity continues to pursue meaning, beauty, and truth.

The exhibition features the work of twenty international artists from fourteen countries, reflecting the richness and diversity of contemporary creative research.

Participating artists:
Nandor Bozsóki, Elke Bügler, Assunta Buono, Jules CL, Elizabeth Colazo, Ana de Cova, Jennifer Fincher, Elisa Friman, Marussa Giovinazzo, Shangal Hassan, Juliette Kaiser, Nad’a Kelemenová, Jayade Kim, Anna Maria Maciechowska, Agnés Monnet, Karoliina Myllymaki, Isilda Rosado, Kayo Sato, Mayada Shibir, Ribana Szutor.
