No Filter – Call for Artists

Exhibition period: October–November 2026

In the heart of Rome’s historic centre, inside the prestigious Galleria della Biblioteca Angelica, No Filter reflects on the need to rediscover an authentic gaze in an age dominated by digital mediation, constructed imagery and constant visual overload.

The exhibition’s title recalls an expression now firmly embedded in contemporary language, used to describe what appears “unfiltered”. But what does it truly mean to present ourselves without filters at a time when every image, every narrative and even every identity seems to be the result of continuous editing? Through different artistic languages, the exhibition explores this question and invites audiences to engage with works that challenge the relationship between truth and representation, memory and perception, presence and simulation.

The participating international artists interpret “No Filter” as an opportunity to navigate the complexity of the present with a critical and conscious gaze.
